2008 Distinguished Leader Awards Banquet

All of whom have, over time, demonstrated their leadership through outstanding INITIATIVE, significant community IMPACT, and INSPIRATION to others.

Past recipients include: Commissioner Cathy Wolfe; Sr. Citizens' Lobby President, Bruce Reeves; The Washington Women's Foundation; Community Youth Services; Jeff Rounce, publisher of the Business Examiner; Dr. David Spangler, past President of St. Martin’s College; Jan Putman, former Executive Director of the Thurston County Food Bank; Denny Heck, creator of TVW; Sherri McDonald & Kristen West, champions of accessible health care delivery; Yelm community volunteer Joe Williams; The City of Lacey, lead by Greg Cuoio; community volunteer Ken F.
