Program Format

  •  A two-day Opening Retreat at the beginning of the program year to focus on team building and group process.
  • Eight, full-day, monthly Challenge Days, each focusing on a specific theme presenting the "What" (issues), "Who" (people), and "How" (methods), related to the theme.
  • A one-day Closing Retreat at the end of the year to crystallize growth and future direction
  • Community involvement through Individual Projects and occasional homework.

Annual Program dates are:

OPENING RETREAT: The third (3rd) Friday & Saturday of September, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM daily

CHALLENGE DAYS: Second Tuesday of each month October – June, 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM. (April Challenge Day is held the fist Tuesday due to Spring break for most participants).

Most Challenge Days are held at St. Martin’s University Worthington Center.

GRADUATION: LEAD Thurston County Graduation is the program at the June Thurston Chamber of Commerce Luncheon
