Who Should Apply? LTC seeks community trustees
- those who will use their leadership on behalf of the community
and its future. People chosen to participate in the program
are those who:
- Show genuine interest in serving the community
- Demonstrate commitment to their community through their
activities
- Have existing or potential opportunities to hold leadership
positions
- Intend to assume key volunteer leadership positions
- Live or work in Thurston County
LEAD Thurston County seeks participants representing a cross-section
of the community in areas such as occupation, age, gender,
geography, race and ethnicity.
Participants and their employers must be willing to commit
the necessary time for full participation. Participation in
Opening and Closing Retreats is mandatory. Participants are
expected to attend all monthly sessions and participate fully
in projects and homework as developed and assigned.
