Application Process

Individuals may apply directly or be referred by an organization, employer or individual. Candidates are chosen for interviews on their own merits from written applications submitted to the LEAD Thurston County Selection Committee. Applicants are urged to give their serious attention to the process of completing the application because the content provides the basis for selection. Those not selected are encouraged to reapply the next year.

Enrollment for the class is 30 individuals each year. Applications are accepted year round and are requested by May and mid-July. Once an application is received the applicant is invited to an interview and then invited to participate in the program.

Interview Dates for the Class of 2009:

June 19, 20, 24 & 25; Or

August 7,8,12, & 13
