WHO SHOULD APPLY?

Leadership Thurston County seeks community trustees - those who will use their leadership on behalf of the community and its future. People who:

• Show genuine interest in serving the community

• Demonstrate commitment to their community through their activities

• Have existing or potential opportunities to hold leadership positions

• Intend to assume key volunteer leadership positions

• Live or work in Thurston County

Participants and their employers must be willing to commit the necessary time for full participation. Participants are expected to attend all monthly sessions and participate fully in projects and homework as developed and assigned.

APPLICATION PROCESS

Individuals may apply directly or be referred by an organization, employer or individual.  Applicants will be invited to attend an orientation during the summer months to meet others in their class, become more familiar with the program's formats and expectations.

We enroll a maximum of 30 individuals each year. Applications are accepted year round and are required no later than mid-July.
